Phyllis Brown-Edwards–President

Phyllis is the Founder and CEO of PB Edwards Consulting LLC.  She is a very active member of the community being Co-chair of the Stigma-Free Taskforce in Clifton.  Phyllis is also a member of the NJ Association of Women Business Owners, Community Liaison Board of Hackensack and the Rotary Club of Englewood.  She sits on the Board of Directors for the Westside Infant Program and Center for Food Action.  Phyllis has received the Trailblazer Award from the Coalition of 100 Black Women and the Community Award from the NAACP of Bergen County.  She resides in Clifton and worships at the Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.

Martha Lissette Aykut–Vice President

Mrs. Aykut has been a Clifton resident for the past 21 years. She is heavily involved with the Clifton Stigma Free Taskforce.  Martha received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Pillar College in 2016. For the past ten years she is the maintenance administrator for a low-income Property Management Company located in Secaucus, New Jersey.

Alma Yee, Esq.–Secretary

Ms. Yee is a Managing Attorney at the Community Health Law Project in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Alma has an extensive background providing legal services to low income persons. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1979 from Rutgers University- School of Law in Newark..

Peter Lund, LSW–Emeritus

Mr. Lund is currently retired from the Passaic County  Board of Social Services where he was an Administrative Supervisor of Family Services. Peter’s other membership and involvements include the Passaic County Historical Society, the New Jersey Chapter of the Sierra Club, and previously, the Passaic County Advisory Council.
